The back of the sweater has a buttoned opening at the top, and below is seamed as you go with a slip stitch. After each turn, make sure you always skip the slip stitch when you begin the new row. In many of my previous patterns, I would ch2 to begin a row. This pattern is different as the rows begin with a ch1. This makes the seam at the back of the sweater less visible.
