The Daisy Dress has been an idea in my collection of imaginary designs for quite some time, and it was a joy to finally bring it to life. My aim was to create a timeless dress silhouette adorned with delightful daisy appliqués. This dress is crafted from the top down in one seamless piece, utilising a combination of hdc v-stitches and dc v-stitches. To support you in your crafting journey, the pattern includes video tutorials that guide you through any intimidating techniques. Once you’ve completed the dress, you can add as many daisies as you like, allowing your creativity to shine when choosing their placements. Be sure to explore the rest of my Daisy Collection.
Materials:
*5.0mm (U.S H/8) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.
*DK cotton yarn. I used Cascade Ultra Pima in the colour Veiled Rose (3840). For the flowers I used Sunshine (3764) & Natural (3718). 200m/219yds/100g per skein. Unfortunately while I was making this dress, it seems this yarn is low in stock here in the UK! An alternative for you would be Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in the colours, Rosy Pink, Banana Cream and Champagne White. If you purchase from this link, I will earn a small commission and can continue creating my patterns. Your support means the world to me! See chart below for approximately how much yarn you will need.
