The Meadow Bonnet is the perfect accessory to complete my “Meadow Collection” (make sure you check out the other patterns in this collection). The gorgeous motif adds whimsy to any outfit. The bonnet is worked in a flat rectangle starting with the meadow motif. When the bonnet body is complete, the back is sewn together. Next you will stitch the bottom edging, followed by a shell edging & straps that finish the bonnet. This bonnet is so easy to make and a great introduction to front and back post double crochet if it is new to you.
*4.00mm (U.S G/6) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
*DK yarn. I used Rico Baby Classic DK in the colour Powder (038). 165m/180yds/50g per skein.
