Pattern Description
The Mini Moule Beanie is the perfect beginner friendly crochet project for anyone who has a baby gift to make.  This pattern uses the linen stitch which you may also know as the moss stitch.  The linen stitch uses single crochet and chain stitches.  You will chain one and skip the single crochet stitches and single crochet into the chain spaces. The beanie is made from a rectangular piece.  A ribbed edging is added to the bottom of the beanie at the end.  Lastly, two little pom poms are sewn onto each point of the hat to add extra cuteness!  This beanie is part of my gender neutral “Mini Moule Collection”.  Make sure you check out the other designs in the collection!

Materials:
*4.00mm (U.S G/6) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
*I used Sirdar Cashmere Merino Silk DK in the colour China Blue (403).

Gauge:
26 stitches/26 rows= 10cmX10cm (4X4 inch) in linen stitch (sc & ch1/sk1)

Stitches and abbreviations used:
BLO- back loop only
ch- chain stitch
ch1/sk1- chain one and skip one stitch
hdc- half double crochet
RS- right side
sc- single crochet
sl st- slip stitch
sp- space
st or sts- stitch or stitches
WS- wrong side
