Pattern Description
The Mini Moule Bonnet is so cozy and cute. The puff stitch pattern gives the bonnet such a beautiful texture. It is made from a single rectangular piece of fabric and then seamed down the back. A ribbed edging along the bottom and the front gives it a polished finish. The straps are made of sl stitches so they are not too chunky for tiny humans. A perfect project for a beginner or seasoned crochet lover and what a beautiful gift for any new addition to the family. This bonnet is part of my gender neutral “Mini Moule Collection”. Materials:
*4.00mm (U.S G/6) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
*I used Sirdar Cashmere Merino Silk DK in the colour Society Pink (420). See chart in the photos for approximately how much yarn you will need.
Gauge:
15 stitches/14 rows= 10cmX10cm (4X4 inch) in alternating v-puff stitch and hdc
Stitches and abbreviations used:
ch- chain stitch
BLO- back loop only
hdc- half double crochet
RS- right side
sc- single crochet
sl st- slip stitch
2tog- two stitches together
sp- space
st or sts- stitch or stitches
v-puff- varied puff stitch, see explanation in pattern notes
WS- wrong side
