Materials:
*3.5mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
*DK yarn. I used Sirdar Country Classic Dk in the shade Rose Pink (855). See chart below for approximately how much yarn you will need.
*tapestry needle
*stitch markers
*measuring tape
Gauge:
25sts/24rows= 10cmX10cm (4X4 inch) square in moss/granite stitch (alternating sc/ch)
*Note about gauge* This pattern uses measurements instead of stitch and row counts so if you don’t have the correct gauge, this skirt will still fit if you use the measurements I have given though the drape might be slightly different*
Stitches and abbreviations used:
st or sts- stitch or stitches
ch- chain stitch
sc- single crochet
ch1/sk1- chain 1 and skip 1 stitch
dc- double crochet
tr- treble crochet
sk- skip
sl st- slip stitch
RS- right side
WS- wrong side
*Note about the waistband* The skirt waist needs to be fitted and the ribbing is extremely stretchy. There is a negative ease up to 18cm/7in for the waistband. The waistband will also stretch after adding the ruffle row.
