*4.00mm(U.S G/6) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
*Cotton DK yarn. I used Paintbox Yarns Cotton Dk in the colour Seafoam Blue (432). I
*tapestry needle
Gauge:
18 stitches/13 rows= 10cmX10cm (4X4 inch) square in half double crochet between the posts
Stitches and abbreviations used:
st or sts- stitch or stitches
sl st- slip stitch
ch- chain stitch
hdc- half double crochet
puff- puff stitch, see explanation on the next page
RS- right side
WS- wrong side
sk- skip
